1. Introduction
Welcome to Queenstown Private Rides. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our services. By booking a ride with us, you agree to comply with these terms.
2. Booking and Confirmation
- Booking Process: All bookings can be made via our website, email, or phone. Please provide accurate details to ensure a smooth booking process.
- Confirmation: Upon receiving your booking request, we will send a confirmation email with the booking details. Please review and verify all information.
3. Payment Terms
- Payment Methods: We accept various payment methods including credit cards, debit cards, and online payment services.
- Payment Timing: Transfers and tours must be paid for in full at the time of booking.
- Currency and Taxes: All costs quoted are in NZ$ (unless stated otherwise) and include Goods & Services Tax (GST) at 15%.
- Credit Card Fees: Quoted prices do not include credit card fees of up to 2.9% of the tour value or a minimum of $3.
- Credit Cards: We accept the following credit cards:
- Visa
- MasterCard
- Personal cheques are not accepted.
4. Cancellation and Amendment Policy
Airport Transfers, Queenstown Ski Field Returns (All-Day Service), Queenstown Golf Course Returns, Hourly Rentals
- Cancellations: No cancellations are allowed within 48 hours of departure.
- Specific Pick-Up Times: Please contact us to arrange specific pick-up times (ski lifts run 9 am-4 pm with a first tracks option at 8 am).
Private Tours
- Cancellation Fees:
- A minimum cancellation fee of $20 applies to all online bookings at the discretion of the supplier.
- 7 days or more prior to travel – overnight tours will incur a cancellation fee at the discretion of the supplier.
- 7 days – 48 hours prior to travel – 25% of the total fare at the discretion of the supplier.
- Within 24 hours prior to travel – 100% cancellation fee.
- Amendment Fees: An amendment fee of NZ$20 per booking will be charged for any bookings changed 7 days prior to travel. Within 7 days, fees will be charged in accordance with the policies of other suppliers.
- Insurance Recommendation: It is strongly recommended that customers insure themselves against cancellation charges and possible loss of money or personal belongings.
5. Passenger Conduct
- Behavior: Passengers are expected to behave respectfully and follow the driver’s instructions at all times. Any form of abusive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in termination of the service without a refund.
- Damage: Any damage caused to the vehicle by a passenger will be the responsibility of the passenger, and repair costs will be charged accordingly.
6. Liability
- Service Disruptions: Queenstown Private Rides is not liable for delays or cancellations caused by factors beyond our control, such as weather conditions, road closures, or traffic incidents.
- Personal Belongings: Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings. Queenstown Private Rides is not liable for any loss or damage to personal items left in the vehicle.
7. Safety and Security
- Seat Belts: All passengers must wear seat belts at all times during the ride.
- Child Seats: Child seats are available for $20 per trip and must be used for passengers under the age of 7.
8. Changes to Terms
Queenstown Private Rides reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately.
